Groundhog Day in Hell

I’ve recently been playing Demon’s Souls on PS3 which has thus far presented itself as being very, very frustrating.

The latest Virtual Shackles comic perfectly sums up the game’s first level and should give you some idea of what to expect. If I can ever beat a level or two a review will be forthcoming. You can check out the comic by clicking the picture above or the link below.

Batman games, and comic book tie-ins in general for that matter, don’t have the best track record when it comes to being high quality, enjoyable titles. It is therefore that we won’t fault anyone for not having high expectations for Batman: Arkham Asylum (BAA).  Please heed our warning, however, as this is a game you definitely want to check out, not only is BAA the best Batman game to ever be released, its one of the best games of the year, period. Usagita Cafe

Pet cafes, where you can either bring your pet in, hang out with “staff pets”, or both are gaining popularity in Japan.  These cafes usually only focus on cats or dogs, but they have been moving to other animals too, including usagi!

A British news station of some kind just did a report on the new Usagita pet cafe that is definitely worth checking out.  You can see the video here:

In the jungle no one can hear you scream… and scream you will while playing this travesty of game. Raven Squad is a squad-based first person shooter with, what little-known Hungarian developer Atomic Motion would have you believe, are RTS (Real Time Strategy) elements. Read on for a stringent lecture on what not to do when designing a game…

Square Enix has remade a lot of their older games for newer systems, including releasing two games that had not been released in America before. Final Fantasy III was one that is only just now released to North Americans. Of course, did SquareSoft (as they were called back then) hold this game back for quality reasons or did they just mysteriously decide not to send to America?
