Roller Town Cast <3 Game Usagi

Sunday, August 8th, 2010

You may not have heard of Picnicface, but you’ve definitely heard FROM them.  Various members of Picnicface with various levels of cooperation are the masterful smiths who have brought us some of the finest examples of both Canadian and internet humour including Powerthirst 1-3, Super Bingo, Julie Bender, Mall Employee,  and The Boardroom (and funny sketches too numerous to link to).

Anyways, they’re “selling themselves” for “money” to make a “full length movie” of “awesomeness”.  It’s like internet humour in movie-based coolness form.  Check out the trailer for their movie entitled Roller Town and see what magical things you can get by donating to them here.

New Anime Movie Guide Domain

Monday, July 19th, 2010

Howdy everyone, just letting you know that I’ve made it easier to get to our popular Anime Movie Guide.  Now instead of bookmarking or remembering the number 238 all the time, you can just hit up animemovieguide.com and it’ll take you straight to our guide.  In the near future we’ll be adding a few more movies to the guide and in the semi-near future we’ll be adding HTML anchors to the page to allow you to easily jump between studios instead of scrolling forever and perhaps even give the guide a proper site of its own.

[update: The 3DS’ graphics chip was officially unveiled today and it is called the DMP PICA200. The tech demo video for this graphics chip has been added to the article]

So, this year’s E3 has come and gone and we have managed to glean quite a few details about all manner of aspects of the upcoming 3DS system from Nintendo.  One of the most impressive and unfortunately obscured aspects of the 3DS are its graphical powers.  Pretty much all Nintendo showed to us at home was the trailer for Kid Icarus, which while awesome did not do too much to diversify our knowledge of everything the system can do.  So, I have accumulated for you all of the currently available samples of 3DS graphics available in both photo and video form so that you can perhaps be just as excited as we are at Game Usagi.  All of the awesomeness after the jump starting with the videos.
