Syberia II Comes To iOS

Saturday, December 5th, 2015

Back in 2004, PC gamers got to know the title Syberia II, a gripping and imaginative third-person adventure saga that followed a young New York lawyer named Kate Walker on an adventure through a mystical version of Russia’s wilder lands. The game was well received by players and widely praised for its impressive visuals and engrossing narrative.

Now after having been adapted for Android devices earlier this year, Syberia II is available in the iOS app store for iPhone and iPad. It costs $4.99, which could drive some more casual app gamers away, but for a full experience without in-app purchasing requirements, rates like these are becoming increasingly reasonable. If you are looking for some great casino games for your Wii or NDS, these are a few that come highly recommended:

One of the top Nintendo DS poker games is High Stakes Texas Hold’em. This is a great game if you are a reasonably good poker player or if you are just learning how to play the game, as the game structure is easy to get your head around. In the single player mode you pit your skill and your luck against three computer opponents. In the multiplayer mode you can simply connect with up to three other human players.  You choose the size of the blind, your bankroll, and then simply play. There are some excellent 3D animations and you can quickly refer to a chart that shows you the value of each kind of hand — particularly useful if you are a novice player. The game would be improved if it had an online option, but it is a great way for a few friends to learn the finer points of the game together.

This is a guest post from one of Game Usagi’s supporters.

Necromanthus, an independent gaming design company out of Romania, took the idea of a browser-based first-person shooter to new heights in 2008 with their release of Stryke Mercenary Camp. Stryke wasn?t the only free-to-join browser-based FPS on the market, not by a long shot, but it was the only shooter on the entire market to be highly optimized for basic computers and basic Internet connections.

Many popular shooters, like Country Strike, Orange and others, not only require gamers to have a hefty gaming rig capable of high FPS (Frames Per Second) rates, but they also require gamers to have low ping values (around 80ms on the high end) and superb connection quality. Stryke didn?t. Anyone could play and school noobs, whether they had a top-of-the-line PC or a low-powered laptop.
