Review System

When you see a game review on Game Usagi for a game that is available on multiple platforms, the first system listed is always the system that the game was primarily played on.  For example:

Prince of Persia (360, PS3, PC/Mac)

means the reviewer primarily played the game on the Xbox 360.

The following are the awards that it is possible for a game to attain from the Game Usagi review team. These are awarded separately from our 0.0 – 10.0 rating scale.

Not all games will receive awards, but if they do, here’s what they mean:

One of the best games/products ever, on par with masterpieces like Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Call of Duty 4:

Blue Unicorn Award

A really great game/product that is suggested to any gamer:

Editor's Choice

A game/product that you should avoid like the plague. Seriously. It may even have bubonic germs hidden inside the case, just stay very, very far away:

Dead Usagi Award

In addition to our regular reviews, we also have introduced a new system called Point Reviews, which function in essentially the same way as normal, but are presented in point form to allow for much faster reading and enjoyment.
