Most people are aware of how Nintendo is dominating the charts in Japan, but what we don’t often see is the sales figures for the rest of the world. Luckily for you, the sales figures from April for USA and Canada have been released as well. (We still don’t have the totals for Europe, but we do have the top games from the UK). Judging from the April sales figures, Nintendo’s back.

Here are the American sales figures for April:

Hardware sales

Wii – 360,000

Nintendo’s doing really well for themselves with their unorthodox methods of developing video game systems and games. Judging by the huge demand for the Wii (and DS) that still persists worldwide, I’d have to say that it looks like Nintendo will only continue to increase it’s sales figures and break further sales records.
