Well, the PSP Go is out of the bag. Thanks to an early release of the next Qore episode, the world now knows what the PSP Go looks like, as well as some purported specs:
- 16 GB of internal Flash memory
- 43% lighter than the PSP-3000
- 3.8-inch screen (compared to the usual 4.3-inch PSP-3000 screen and the 3.5-inch iPhone/iPod Touch screens)
- Bluetooth support
- Will be sold concurrently with the PSP 3000
- Apparently no UMD slot?
More pics after the jump!
I like the idea of a more compact and lighter PSP, as even the PSP-3000 is kinda chucky for in-pocket transportation. Again with the outward facing screen, though… If there was anything just asking to get ruined in your pocket, it is the PSP Go. The white circles around the main buttons confused me, as they seem to offer little in the way of asthetics, but they have grown on me in the past couple of hours.
So far, I’ll give the PSP Go, in concept an:
8.3
And Sony for letting this get out before E3 and completely ruin their show:
-0.1
