We’ve already sunk over 20 hours into our copy of No Man’s Sky that Sony was kind enough to send our way and we’ll be posting some tips today to help you on your journey through the stars. One thing about the game that I’ve been enjoying a lot are the many randomly generated spaceships that come in and out of the space stations and trading posts in the game.
In practical terms the ships more or less all handle and perform exactly the same but can look like anything from a small box to the Serenity ship from Firefly. While never a complete dead ringer due to all of the randomness involved, I did manage to see a ship that was very reminiscent of an Arwing from Star Fox right down to a red accent on the left foil that evokes the red Star Fox team logo.
As an extra bonus, check out the ship’s pilot:
I guess in the universe of No Man’s Sky Andross has stolen an Arwing and gone joy riding.
You can tell by the astromech droid on the other side that the ship body is meant more to evoke an X-Wing, but for my money I immediately thought of Star Fox when this dude pulled into the hangar.
