Well, I’ve probably already lost all my credibility by reviewing a Pokemon game, but because of the bad TV show, people who play Pokemon games are branded as immature children.  What most people don’t understand is that the main Pokemon games are actually well-crafted RPGs.  However, does this peripheral installment in the best selling RPG series of all time live up to the standard set before it?

Progress: Finished the main quest

Square Enix has remade a lot of their older games for newer systems, including releasing two games that had not been released in America before. Final Fantasy III was one that is only just now released to North Americans. Of course, did SquareSoft (as they were called back then) hold this game back for quality reasons or did they just mysteriously decide not to send to America?

Classics: Star Wars Battlefront II (PC, Xbox, PS2, PSP)

Progress: Beat main campaign mode

Most sequels to games are inferior to the originals. They don’t add enough to the series to be considered as good as the one that started it all. Battlefront II is not one of these games. Star Wars Battlefront brought something entirely new to the gaming world (and the Star Wars world for that matter). Through Battlefront II, you are able to play as a regular infantryman through famous Star Wars battles like the Battle of Geonosis, and even change their outcome. For example, you can have the Empire win the Battle of Endor, even though in the movies they lost it. Battlefront was a great game, but the sequel was even better.
