Cost: $69.99
Receive: Vision Cam, Headset, XBLA Game, 12-Month Xbox Live
I sit in my chair, with my controller in one hand and apple juice in the other. As I place my juice aside, the timer runs down, ticking away. My heart beats faster and faster… almost equivalent to the rotation of wheels and as loud as the roar of the engine. I’m dazed by the acceleration, by the speed, by the power! … and then it stops, everything stops… they’re watching me… <_<

XBLA: Arkadian Warriors

Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

Play Time: 1½ Hours
Progress: Level 6 Soldier

This is an Xbox Live Arcade Review. Arkadian Warriors should cost you 800 Microsoft Points ($12 CDN). Life shouldn’t be completely about thinking, put down your tactical shooter and prepare for a mindless hack and slash fantasy-styled game, but with a mindful review.

This may not be a golden disc, but it’s keeping me entertained.

Call of Duty 4

Hours Played: At least 48
Progress: Complete Single Player Mode, ~ level 20 in Prestige Mode 1 on Multiplayer

If you have yet to have the pleasure of playing this game, then I truly feel sorry for you. This game simply ranks very high on the list of the best games ever made. I have sunk about 2 days worth of time into the online mode alone.

Demo Impressions: BioShock

Big Daddy

After playing through the demo a few times, I must say that I’m impressed. Until I played the BioShock demo, I gave credit to The Darkness as having the best console FPS graphics to date. I must say that BioShock’s (BS) graphics beat out The Darkness by a decent margin. The gameplay is intense, the story is told in real time through varied methods, and the game is also kinda freaky. The magic-like “plasmids” used in the game are fun and accompanied by good effects all around. The enemies all actually talk (minus the Big Daddies), which I wasn’t expecting, so that was kinda cool.
