Anime Movie Guide Incoming [update]

Friday, March 11th, 2011

[Update: The site is now live! Check out http://animemovieguide.com!]

We apologize for the lack of updates over the past week or so. We’ve been hard at work developing an all-new site to host our growing Anime Movie Guide. The site is nearing completion and will soon feature OVA and TV Series Movie guides in addition to the classic Movie Guide that you’ve come to know and love. We’re also working on our seemingly arbitrary organization of the movies so that it’s a much cleaner and simpler browsing experience.  We’ll be unveiling the site in the next day or two, so get ready to experience a new way to find great anime movies.  To tide you over, there’s a sneak peek at the logo from the new site above and a preview image of an early beta version of the site on Anime Movie Guide’s Twitter feed here: http://twitter.com/animemovieguide

Sunday, January 23rd, 2011

The movies Summer Wars (from Mamoru Hosoda) and Evangelion 2.0 (from Gainax, pictured above) were both recently added to our Anime Movie Guide.  So go ahead, check them out and see what you’ve been missing in the wonderful world of anime.

New Anime Movie Guide Domain

Monday, July 19th, 2010

Howdy everyone, just letting you know that I’ve made it easier to get to our popular Anime Movie Guide.  Now instead of bookmarking or remembering the number 238 all the time, you can just hit up animemovieguide.com and it’ll take you straight to our guide.  In the near future we’ll be adding a few more movies to the guide and in the semi-near future we’ll be adding HTML anchors to the page to allow you to easily jump between studios instead of scrolling forever and perhaps even give the guide a proper site of its own.

#1 Anime Movie Guide Online

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

So.  I constantly work to add to our Anime Movie Guide here on the site, and it has finally paid off!  We now have the #1 Anime Movie Guide on the internet (according to Google, who is the internet).  Yes, Amazon books do still come ahead of us, but we’re the #1 Online Anime Movie Guide regardless.  How am I supposed to compete with an “Erotic Anime Movie Guide”?  ^_^

Seriously, though, it’s only a matter of time before we come in above Amazon as well, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, take a look at our now famous Anime Movie Guide!

Anime

The new Anime Movie Guide is up. It’s not complete yet, but I thought that I would put up what has been finished so that you can at least start watching some of the many good anime movies out there, ’cause there are a lot!

You can see it here:

http://gameusagi.com/?page_id=238

Or at any time by clicking it’s entry in our sidebar.

Many more movies will still be added, and then it will be updated every time I see a new anime movie.

Enjoy!

Bleach: Shattered Blade (Wii) Coming to North America

Bleach: Shattered Blade boxart

Bleach is one of the most popular anime series in Japan, as well as quickly becoming more popular in North America. It is about a teen who becomes a shinigami (death-god) who helps souls find their way to soul society. It is an action anime with a big focus on swords.

According to 1up.com, Bleach: Shattered Blade will be released in North America on October 15, 2007. According to Amazon.com, it will be available Oct. 9,2007.

editor’s note: This has been a favorite series of mine for a long time and from what I can gather, this will be a great game. I can’t wait!

owner’s note:  I have this game in Japanese, and it is certainly one of the best interactive Bleach experiences possible.  I’m hoping that the English version will be just as good.
