A Mario game made for the Wii is finally coming out soon (besides Super Paper Mario). Mario Party 8 is set to be released on May 29, and features an assortment of mini-games that take advantage of the Wii’s remote capabilities.
Game features (from Futureshop website):
Needless to say – I’m excited for this game. I haven’t played Mario Party since the 3rd one, and I definitely have been waiting for a mario-based game for the Wii. Besides that, YouTube has provided me with some videos to enhance my excitement. Also, it happens to be my birthday that day… so I may need to pre-order this one and have a Mario Party birthday.

As you well can see, Nintendo’s still on top with both of their systems, as they have been for the past little while with few exceptions.

Game Usagi will keep you updated with any additional news as it arises.

At Tecmo’s recent press event, they announced a new, exclusive RPG for the Wii that is a spin-off of the Rygar: Legendary Warrior “platformers” for the NES and PS2. The character art (pictured above) already looks very impressive. The only info we have on the game thus far is the tagline that it has temporarily been given:
New Hero, New Enemies, Swing Action

EBGames (GameSpot) and Best Buy have started taking pre-orders for both Metroid Prime 3 and Mario Strikers Charged today. If you want to grab either of these games on their respective release dates, I’d suggest pre-ordering to ensure that you have a copy waiting for you.
