The Witcher: Enhanced Edition (PC)

ESRB Rating: M (Mature)

The original Witcher game received many awards including RPG of the Year from IGN, PC Gamer, GameSpy, and GameSpot. CDProjekt, hoping to further this great success, recently released an entirely updated version of the game with improvements covering essentially every aspect of the game. 80% faster load times, vastly improved graphics, new quests, and all-new dubbing in 8 different languages are just a few of the improvements that were put in to enhance the original award-winning game. This is all quite impressive, but does the game fare well under the Usagi’s metaphorical gaming microscope?

Star Wars is a fickle mistress. She makes you feel loved and good about yourself with movies like Episodes IV – VI and then when you think the wonderful relationship is over, wait! There’s hope with Episodes I – III, but promises of more prove just to be further evidence that the relationship is tired and done. It’s not that different in the game world, there are signs, mere hints that the relationship could be great with games like Rogue Squadron (next-gen follow up, please!), Knights of the Old Republic and yes, OK maybe even Lego Star Wars. But then there’s so much heart ache with the multitude of bad games that make you wonder what you’re still in it for. Well, which of the two categories does Force Unleashed fall into? Surprisingly, a bit of both.
#1 Anime Movie Guide Online
October 30th, 2008 by Logan PredySo. I constantly work to add to our Anime Movie Guide here on the site, and it has finally paid off! We now have the #1 Anime Movie Guide on the internet (according to Google, who is the internet). Yes, Amazon books do still come ahead of us, but we’re the #1 Online Anime Movie Guide regardless. How am I supposed to compete with an “Erotic Anime Movie Guide”? ^_^
Seriously, though, it’s only a matter of time before we come in above Amazon as well, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, take a look at our now famous Anime Movie Guide!

LittleBigPlanet A Little Early
October 25th, 2008 by Logan PredySo, I get a call from EB Games today saying that they have LittleBigPlanet in. I hastily went down and purchased my copy, not really thinking about the recent delay or when the game was actually supposed to come out. Whilst playing the game, I noticed that I couldn’t connect to the LittleBigPlanet online servers like I used to in the BETA, and was searching online for a resolution when I found out that the game isn’t out yet. Pretty funny. I hope I don’t get in trouble for the trophies I have earned and the attempts to get online that I’ve made. ^_^
Pictures of the sweetness after the jump, make sure to phone up your local EB Games/GameSpot to see if they have them available! (click the pictures for bigger versions)
