Zelda

Sakurai-san has posted a very nice new arrangement of Ocarina of Time songs that will be used as background music within the new Smash Bros. game.  I’ve been generally unimpressed by the musical updates on the site thus far, but I have to say that I am now very much looking forward to hearing this medley during gameplay.  Click on the new character model for Zelda to hear the song.

Mario Party 8 Review

Thursday, June 7th, 2007

Mario Party 8 - Baseball Screenshot
Hours Played: over 12 hours

Mario Party 8 – the Wii edition of the Mario Party series. This game, like the others in the series, is much like a board game but better. Players take turns hitting the dice block and trying to get to the star (or other objective). At the end of each turn (after all players have gone) there is a mini-game between the players with a coin prize.MP8 has a variety of different gameplays including battle royale (regular), duel battle (quick 1-on-1), and tag-team battle (regular, but pairs combine stars). Duel battles are played between two players on modified maps.

Wii and PS3

In May, Nintendo sold 251,794 Wii’s in Japan. This is compared to Sony’s 45,321 PS3’s. It’s nearly 5 Wii’s to 1 PS3. In April, the ratio was 4 to 1. Also, in overall sales of Wii vs. PS3 in Japan – the Wii has sold about 2.5x more than the PS3.

The DS is also outselling the PSP about 3 to 1.

All I have to say is: 🙂
