This is one of my most anticipated games coming to the DS this August. The spiritual sequel to the Mega Man Battle Network series of RPGs, this game will once again see you roaming both the real and cyber worlds defeating evil. A new feature of this game will be the very nice 3D characters, sprites, and effects during battle sequences. The game will be available in three flavours: Dragon, Leo, and Pegasus. Each will feature an exclusive transformation and other such things, but they will be essentially the same.

The latest IGN Wii podcast alludes to the fact that a “fighting game that sold pretty well that was from a 3rd party” on the Cube will be coming to the Wii as a “crazy-ass adventure game”. Most bets are on Soul Calibur, seeing as how that installation of the series sold the best on the Cube. The Weapon Master mode from Soul Calibur II was okay, but I’m not sure if something similar would translate into a viable game. But, then again, if they include Link again, of course I’m going to get it.

Nintendo has announced that the DS internet browser will be released in North America on June 4th. We’ll be able to buy the DS lite version in stores, but people still primarily using the old, phat DS will have to buy the browser online due to the differing sizes of of the RAM cartridges (that go in the GBA slot) that are required to run the browser card on the DS systems.

Bleach has become my favourite (yes, I use the Queen’s English) anime over the years, and that’s saying a lot. Being an otaku, I follow numerous anime shows every week, and have anime-a-thons regularly to catch up on series I didn’t see during their lifespan. Bleach has always stuck out to me for a few reasons that I will outline to basically encourage you to watch this great anime too.
I’m going to forgo posting news tonight (nothing great has happened) and instead do two things:
a) watch anime (need to catch up in Bleach and Naruto Shippuuden)
b) build our wonderful and soon-to-be illustrious forums
Have a great bunny-filled evening, and we’ll see you tomorrow.
