I haven’t posted a link to a webcomic in a while, but this one made me laugh a whole bunch and still does whenever I think about it. Enjoy.

There has been an image floating about the internet over the last couple of days, supposedly leaked through an FCC filing, of the development kit motherboard currently being used to test 3DS games. It’s not of a terribly high resolution, so I enlarged it a bit and examined it in detail to see just what we can learn about the 3DS from this image if it turns out to be the real deal.

With the gaming market trending very quickly to HD audio and visuals, we find ourselves in need of a lot more equipment to get the most out of our games. I myself have purchased HD TVs, surround sound systems/headphones, PC gaming rigs, and video game systems all to take advantage of the higher resolution and clarity offered with cutting-edge technology. Well, even if you have all of the fancy gadgets, you’re still going to need a ton of cables to hook everything together. With all of the cables to buy, it’s best if you can get them on the cheap, as long as it doesn’t risk reducing the all-mighty clarity that your system will produce in the end. We recently had a budget-priced HDMI cable (that of course works on all HDMI-compatible devices) sent to us for review, so read on to see how it fared.

The first Assassin’s Creed, even though riddled with bugs and repetition was a unique and deep enough experience that it sold quite well and brought a good amount of solid gaming hours to everyone who played it. Looking to fix some of the mistakes of the past, Ubisoft Montreal set out to make a more fleshed-out Assassin’s Creed experience while continuing the intriguing (and somewhat convoluted) story-line and helping us discover The Truth. You can find out about whether or not their efforts were in vain after the jump.

Well, I’ve probably already lost all my credibility by reviewing a Pokemon game, but because of the bad TV show, people who play Pokemon games are branded as immature children. What most people don’t understand is that the main Pokemon games are actually well-crafted RPGs. However, does this peripheral installment in the best selling RPG series of all time live up to the standard set before it?
