Guitar Hero 3

Hours played: 40
Progress: Enough to play each song like 10 times, passed hard.

Well, guess which version of Guitar Hero 3 has sold the most.  Yes, the Wii version.  Thank goodness downgraded technology is selling, ah yes, free market, thank you! (-_-) lame

News: Sonic Unleashed Screens!

Sonic Unleashed

New screens have emerged today of what may be the next Sonic game. Both the resolution and the general quality seem to point to the game being on either the 360 or PS3, but SEGA loves Nintendo, so some sort of similar Sonic game can essentially be assured. There are screens both from cinematics and supposed in-game play, and the difference between the two should be obvious. I’m looking forward to this game already, it looks like (if they’re real) SEGA’s trying to get Sonic back to his old awesome as opposed to the loading and bug laden last Sonic games.

You can download a .ZIP file of the images here:

Edit: A video from the Xbox 360 version of the game has been leaked! The screens are apparently from the 360 version as well. You can watch the after the jump:

Edit 2:  Confirmed!  Sonic Unleashed was officially accounced by SEGA to be on its way to Wii, 360, PS3, and PS2 this year.

Luckily for you, the sales figures from April for USA and Canada have been released as well. (We still don’t have the totals for Europe, but we do have the top games from the UK). Judging from the April sales figures, Nintendo’s back.

Project Rygar Character

At Tecmo’s recent press event, they announced a new, exclusive RPG for the Wii that is a spin-off of the Rygar: Legendary Warrior “platformers” for the NES and PS2. The character art (pictured above) already looks very impressive. The only info we have on the game thus far is the tagline that it has temporarily been given:

New Hero, New Enemies, Swing Action

RE4 Wii Cheap

RE4

The Resident Evil 4 remake that is coming soon for the Wii will be wonderfully value-priced at $29.99 US (or ~ $34.99 CDN). The remake version will feature all of the best aspects that the game had on other platforms: the GameCube graphics updated into 16×9 progressive scan ratio, all of the PS2 version extras, additional extra missions, and Wii controls. The game is supposed to run very well on the Wii, and is the definitive version of the game.
